The Impact of Chaplaincy

A Chaplain's Impact on a Year 3 Student

"I can think of a student in year 3 who I was told had very difficult family circumstances. This student was known to sometimes sit in the principal's office, curled up in a ball, unable to speak for long periods of time. This student has been a part of my Wellbeing groups for the last two terms, involving cooking, craft, and gardening. The executive staff have observed changes in this student over the last term. We have seen her more engaged in friendships with peers, and we've seen a beautiful caring side to her in showing support to other students in their times of need."
